Why I started

My reasons for become a PT.

I became a PT to empower women to start a career in the fitness industry or to start their fitness journey with confidence and support.

I started my own journey after an injury in 2022. I didn't know what the injury actually was until June 2025 but I spent years in injury rehabilitation. Meanwhile, I had aspirations to move up the pathway of a Superleague team then represent my country. I quickly realised that my body could not physically reach the intensity that I needed to play for such a high level nor did I have the mental capacity to focus on school and sport at the same time. So after 2 years in a county squad and 2 years in the futures pathway for the now London Mavericks, I decided that I should play for fun and make sire that I don't cause serious long-term damage to fragile joints.

When my the last year of school came around, I thought that I should follow my peer group and apply to university to get a degree. My degree of choice was going to be Sport and Exercise science... I had unconditional offers from all 5 of my choices but when results day came I decided that I wasn't ready to leave home. Instead, I secured a place on a PT course that let me work shifts to pay off half the cost. I also had the choice to specialised after getting my diploma.

Now, less than 1 year after leaving school, I have my own business where I can support people through their wellness journey with confidence
